TOKYO, Japan (JBL): Panasonic Trians were suffered shock defeats in both their games against lower ranked Tochigi Brex in the final round of the 2012-13 JBL Regular Season thus kissing their chances to make the play-offs good bye as Aishin Sea Horses capped their Regular Season title with comfortable wins against Mitsubishi.
Going into the final round, Panasonic were counting on winning both their games and Hitachi losing both theirs – against Toshiba. Hitachi did lose in their two games, but Panasonic failed to capitalize on it losing without much challenge.
Defending champions Toyota Alvark didn’t raise much sweat in rounding off their Regular Season with comfortable wins against the bottom-ranked Hokkaido.
The play-offs tip off the coming weekend.
