Thailand Slammers - Singapore Slingers 58:56

The Thailand Slammers wrapped up their Saigon Hoops Fest campaign with victory over the Slingers. The Slammers came from behind in the fourth frame and snatched a tough win at the end. Dasom Wutipong drained a decisive three-pointer for the Slammers.

The Slingers enjoyed a 20:15 lead after ten minutes. They stretched the gap to as many as 7 points at halftime 34:27. But the Slammers stopped the rot in the third quarter. They picked up the defensive tempo and limited their opponents to 13 points. The Slammers cut the deficit to just two points with one period remaining. The teams went neck and neck throughout the fourth frame before Dasom Wutipong stepped up for the Slammers and sealed the win. Christien Charles (216-F/C-81, college: Villanova) provided 19 points and 15 boards for the Slammers. Wutipong Dasom and Darrius Brannon (206-F-83, college: Houston) had 11 points each for the winning team. Cabatu Junjun (193-F-84) responded with 19 points for the Slingers. Jones-Jennings Rashad (203-F/C-84, college: UALR) provided 16 points and 16 boards in the loss.
